Dorian Concept: Dorian Concept is the alias of Austrian virtuoso Oliver Johnson, who arrived during the latter half of the 2000s amid a wave of bedroom-bound experimental beatmakers. He quickly went from producing tracks in solitude to performing with the Cinematic Orchestra at London’s famed Royal Albert Hall. His sound can be best described as a concoction of glitchy hip hop beats, hypnotic jazz-influenced melodies driven by wizardry on the synth which speaks volumes of his prodigious talent. He plays for the first time in New Delhi as a part of the warpcore x nightvibe Matrix themed Halloween party at Auro Kitchen and Bar on October 31st.

Arjun Vagale: Arjun Vagale helms the crown of being the pioneer of underground electronic music in India. He is the crown jewel of the Indian underground electronic movement and one of our most celebrated exports to the international music scene. Celebrated for his old school sensibilities and new age deftness in producing exemplary work that defies time and genre, this whiz brings his star power to Danza Occulta’s Halloween Party at the Esquire Club, Chanakyapuri on Thursday, 31 October. This party is hosted by The Delhi Collective and you can expect raving, hard core techno sounds to fill your ears whilst you’re chained to the dance floor.

Olivia: Polish acid house and techno sensation Olivia has been ripping up clubs across Europe as she brings her brand of truly cyberpunk electronic dance music to India. Imagine a heady cocktail of electro that screams Helena Hauff mixed with the melodic techno undertones giving the listener a driving peaking to the future of house and techno. She also performs alongside Dorian Concept for warpcore x Nightvibe, Enter the Matrix Halloween at Auro on October 31st.

Blurry Slur & Roan Sable: This colourful combination of Blurry Slur & Roan Sable — all the way from Maharashtra, play in the capital on Friday, 1 November at Summer House Cafe. Specialists in the stylings of House and Disco, Blurry Slur is the Deep House/Tech project of Lynston Dsouza and Roan Sable is known to tactfully blend House and Disco music. Together they become a groovy, hypnotic force to be reckoned with. Don’t miss this one of a kind curation that promises to be a unique sonic affair.

Anthony Parasole: Anthony Parasole should need no introduction to newer or longer-standing dancers of the New York deep house and techno scenes. A prominent figure with the underground house and techno resurgence of NYC, Anthony’s acute selections won ears right away, and he hasn’t let go since. He will be supported by local underground big wig, Film and the fresh and upcoming sounds of Shireen. Parasole takes his deep sounds of Techno and House to the dance floors of Mango Kitchen and Bar on Friday, 1 November.

Blot! vs. Kohra: Two of the most formidable electronic acts that India has ever seen are playing a rare B2B in their home town for the first time in 3 years at the infamous Auro Kitchen and Bar on Saturday, 2 November. Yes, we are talking about Blot! Vs Kohra. Expect Blot’s driven brand of emotive deep house to be fused by the signature hypnotic techno sound of Kohra which continually borrows from left field electro. Despite the deluge of international acts, when Delhi’s favourite sons play together, you have to say, it’s going to be the gig of the week.

Dotdat: Dotdat is not only the prodigy of Arjun Vagale, but he is the flagbearer for the wave of industrial techno in India. With techno at the core of his ambiguous, dark and hypnotic sounds, DotDat explores new dimensions of melody and movement. He plays at Deep In Dance’s “Gaia” property in cahoots with, techno mavericks, Kashish and Stoked at Fun Republic Social, Mumbai on Friday, 1 November.

Dorian Concept: As a part of his India tour, Austrian genius Oliver Johnson, brings his unique blend of jazz-infused electronica that peaks with hip-hop and dubstep beats to both Bangalore and Mumbai. He continues his India tour plays at Fandom at Gilly’s, Bangalore on Friday, 1 November and antiSocial, Mumbai on Saturday, 2 November.

Amotik: The Berlin-based DJ/producer has developed a unique style of hypnotic/atmospheric techno with a relentless raw undertone, his consistency as both a DJ & producer has seen him perform at some of the most exciting clubs & festivals around the globe. He brings his mad genius to India with gigs slated at Kitty Su Delhi on Friday, 1 November, Kitty Su, Mumbai on Saturday, 2 November and Kitty Ko, Bangalore on Sunday, 3 November.

Olivia: Olivia has been a key player in the Polish electronic music scene for 14 years, as a DJ, promoter and producer who is part of the Radar and Chrono Bross collective. She draws inspiration from both music and the world around her. From the future shock of Detroit techno, the distinctive Dutch sound through to the images and ideals of science fiction and technological progression throughout the 70s. The infinity of space, the unfulfilled promises of robot designs and the unexplained mysteries of paranormal phenomena all inform her approach to sound and her search for music. She takes this space-y, tech sound after playing in Delhi to Mumbai and plays in Bonobo on Friday, 1 November.
