Disney just dropped a fuck ton of shows on Investor Day 2020. And I mean a fuck ton.
From movies to television series, across Hulu, FX on Hulu, Disney+, National Geographic, Lucasfilm, Disney Animation, Pixar, and yes, Marvel Studios, there were huge updates revealing fresh details about known projects.
Over the next few years we’ll have about 10 Marvel series, 10 Star Wars series, 15 Disney live actions, Disney Animation, Pixar series, and a whole host of other shows and movies from the various branches of Disney.
I’m still reeling from the overload of information, albeit with the Lion King running in the bacground. And I thought DC Fandom made my mind boggle.
Let’s just get down to it.
Raya and the last Dragon is set for theatrical and streaming launch on March 5th 2021
Star Wars
Rangers of the New Republic series set in the same time as The Mandalorian.
Rogue Squadron directed by Patty Jenkins.
Visions, an animated anthology.
A Droid Story, a new R2D2 and C3P0 animated adventure.
An Ahsoka Tano spin off run by the Filoni and Favreau.
Andor, a Rogue One prequel centered around Cassian Andor
The Acolyte, a mystery thriller series.
Lando, possibly seeing Donald Glover return to the role after Solo.
And not to mention Hayden Christensen returning for Obi-Wan Kenobi which is set 10 years after Episode III
The Bad Batch animated series spin-off from The Clone Wars

Willow and a new Indiana Jones movie. I can’t keep calm. I just can’t!
Marvel
First things first, Marvel is not recasting T’Challa, out of respect for Chadwick Boseman, who passed away earlier this year. They will expand the premise to The World of Wakanda.
Apart from announcing a whole bunch of new movies…
Christian Bale joins Thor: Love and Thunder as the villain Gorr — the God Butcher.
WandaVision new trailer dropped
A first look at Falcon and Winter Soldier which takes place after the events of Endgame.
and Loki, the trailer takes place immediately following the flashback events in Avengers: Endgame where Loki manages to get his hands on the Space Stone. What follows next in a mind-bending adventure across both space and time.
What If…? trailer released
Marvel Studios released an official trailer for their animated series Marvel’s What If…? Previously announced at the first Investor Day in 2017, the series will take the ideas from the classic Marvel comic book and turn the Marvel Cinematic Universe on its head.
Cast reveal for Shang-Chi
Not to mention updates on Ms. Marvel, Doctor Strange 2, Spider-man 3, Ant-man 3, and so much more.
But possibly the biggest announcement,

Welcome to Earth from Darren Aronofsky
Pixar announced a new animated film called Lightyear, one connected to the Toy Story franchise. Lightyear is described as an origin story for Buzz Lightyear, charting his rise from test pilot to Space Ranger. Directed by Finding Dory co-director Angus MacLane, Lightyear will star Chris Evans as the voice of Buzz and is scheduled to hit cinemas in summer 2022.
Honestly this is just the tip on the iceberg.

So go and check out the trailers, the first looks, the images, and revel in the madness that Disney has unleashed on us all in its latest step towards world domination.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go contemplate my existence for the next few years as I plan out how I will watch all of this and still keep my sanity and not explode with joy.
